Vratis successfully submitted a grant proposal to FP7 EU ICT Programme. As founders of OSE we have invited partners from different research institutions to the consortium, as well as coordinated the project itself. The company role would be to develop a software for image processing in HCS. The consortium consists of academic and SME partners from Poland, Switzerland, UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Germany. Vratis joined the DNARNA consortium and successfully submitted a grant proposal to FP7 EU Health Programme. The company role would be to develop a software for automated particle tracking in fluorescence recovery after photobleaching and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy images. The consortium consists of academic and SME partners from Poland, Israel, UK, Netherlands, Croatia and Germany.

Vratis joined the Imagine consortium and successfully submitted a grant proposal to FP7 EU SME Programme. The consortium from Poland, Ireland, and Germany represents strong academic partners and SMEs in textmining and ontologies as well as in image analysis. Our role would be to automatically retrieve and classify medical and biological images from scientific publications.

Vratis was invited to the LAMELESS project as a Technical SME. Our role would be to validate and assess a visual system equipped in two cameras and FPGA, applied in a dairy sector. The project was submitted to the FP7-SME-2007-2 call.

Towards rapid cervical screening

Our paper describing a prototype of a computer-aided system that supports the cervical cancer diagnosis has been accepted in Int J Gynec Cancer. The core of the system is a combination of different image processing algorithms that analyze images of cytological smears acquired by phase-contrast microscopes.
